Usually one chick survives anyway, the other one is an insurance, just in case the first chick dies. Circle of life, natures intent, etc.
Humans have an urge to see and learn by nature. If you don't like seeng this PICTURE (not real life), then go back to your labs and disect frogs or experiment on caged animals or something...
